Venison Chili

Here is a quick and easy Venison Chili recipe that we like to use. Not only is it easy to make but it's loaded with beans and meat. Get your ingredients and make some for hunting camp or for the big game.

Venison Chili Ingredients

Ground Venison  -  2lbs
Chili Beans  -  (4) 15.3oz cans
Bush's Chili Magic Chili Starter  -  1 can
Ranch Style Beans with Jalapeno Peppers  -  (1) 150z can
McCormick's Original Chili Spice  - (1) Packet
Crushed (Or Stewed) Tomatoes  -  (1) large can
Hormel Chili with Beans  -  (1) 150z can
Chili Powder  -  1 tsp
Minced Onion  -  1tbsp
RAKS™ Seasoning (to taste)

Venison Chili Directions

  • Add the 1 tsp of chili powder, 1 tbsp of minced onion, and RAKS™ Seasoning to the ground venison and brown in a large skillet (we do not drain our meat after browning as venison is very lean anyway)
  • When the meat is browned add the can of crushed (or stewed) tomatoes and bring to a boil
  • Add the meat mixture to a 7 quart slow cooker
  • Now add all remaining ingredients
  • Cook on High for 4 hours

We like to enjoy a hot bowl of venison chili with shredded cheese, Fritos and of course a warm cinnamon roll!
